Claudio Dondoli and Marco Pocci: both come from Colle Val d`Elsa, close to Siena, where Archirivolto is still located today. Dondoli and Pocci met in Florence at the faculty of architecture where they were part of the same work team. In 1983 they started a studio involved in industrial and architectural Italian chairs projects that in 1989 turned exclusively to industrial chairs design projects. Their belief is that real innovation in designer wood chairs today is based on the use of technology and materials. Technology is not used to create an image but to give the client a service: a good design product must be beautiful, efficient and comfortable if it is truly of quality. Besides working with Bonaldo they also work with Desalto, Fasem and Ligne Roset, among others.
